Friday at 5:00 p.m., the Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Unit recovered 7 stolen all terrain vehicles at a rural location south of the City.
Police say that the vehicles recovered comprised of: 5 quads, 1 snowmobile and 1 side by side recreational vehicle. All of the vehicles were stolen from the Grande Prairie area. There are currently no charges laid in this regard and no one in custody. The Drug Unit continues their investigation.
Police remind the public of the importance of reducing the opportunity of your all terrain vehicle becoming a target for thieves. Use a theft prevention device such as a wheel lock, chain or alarm and whenever possible, park your ATV inside.
