Liberal incumbent Blair Lekstrom has done it again.

Lekstrom is the returning MLA for the Peace River South. Lekstrom received roughly 63 percent of the total vote. He says he couldn’t have run without the support of his riding.

Lekstrom says he didn’t expect the STV to be voted in. He says many of his constituents did not understand the system, and were content with the First Past the Post system.

While he didn’t mention specifics, Lekstrom says his first order of business is to take down the banners and balloons, and start working for his constituency.
