New health care space opens at Fort St. John clinic

It was the grand opening of a new health care space at the Fort St. John Medical Clinic on Thursday.It features a new office, examination room, accessible washroom, and meeting room.

The focus of the new facility was the meeting room, which is big enough to house group medical appointments, of up 20 people or more.

Dr. Becky Temple is one of the doctors providing the group appointments, which she says started out a few years ago for just diabetics, but have expanded to serve people with all kinds of other chronic diseases, as well as menopause, depression, and anxiety.

Dr. Temple points out, no-one has to attend group appointments, as individual appointments are always offered.
