The Meat Draw is at 5pm, and Cake cutting is at 8pm. Brewer says everyone should attend the event to commemorate the pioneers of the Legion, and to learn about its long history.

In addition to Friday’s celebrations, the Legion will be hosting the Cadet’s annual Steak and Lobster night on Saturday.

The cost is 50 dollars a plate, and includes admission into the dance. All proceeds go towards the Cadets. For more information, contact the Legion at 250-785-3917.
