Safe Driving Lectures in Fort St. John

A retired police sergeant will be the keynote speaker at a series of presentations on the risk of driving, entitled “Your Greatest Risk”.

Grant Aune, the current President and CEO of Advantage Fleet Services Inc., and a retired RCMP officer of more than 24 years, is regarded as a riveting public speaker, whose message will ring home to anyone who drives, be it professionally, or for work purposes.

Aune will be joined by Fort St. John Corporal Tom Woodall, who will give his emotionally charged speech “The Doorbell”, about being the first at the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

The presentations run on Wednesday (already sold out) and Thursday nights this week (May 13th and 14th), at the Lido Theatre. The evenings get underway at 7pm, with tickets available in advance, at Pimm’s Production Equipment (250-787-0808).

As well, Aune will instruct a “Standard of Care” workshop, for employers, on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, at the Enform Training facility at the Totem Mall.

For more information on either the afternoon workshops or evening presentations, call the Enform BC office, at 250-785-6009.
