Stolen GP Vehicle dumped in Fort Nelson River

The Fort Nelson RCMP are looking for your help after a vehicle was found in the Fort Nelson River.

On Friday May 22nd, the Fort Nelson RCMP and Fire Rescue attended a motor vehicle incident off the Clarke Lake Road where a truck and utility trailer were upside down in the water.

Fire Rescue entered the vehicle and noted no one trapped inside.  Subsequent investigation revealed that the truck and trailer and license plate were all reported stolen out of Grande Prairie, Alberta.  The vehicle was removed from the river without incident.

Anyone having knowledge of who dumped those vehicles into the Fort Nelson River is asked to call the Fort Nelson RCMP at 250-774-2777 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
