Thursday night's fire updates


A pot of French fries is responsible for over 50 thousand dollars worth of damage to a local home.

Crews were called to the scene of a house fire at 8916 84-A street, at around five pm on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Chief Burrows says Deputy Fire Chief Curtis Redpath was the first to spot a camper fire on Thursday night.

Burrows says Redpath was taking a drive, and spotted smoke in an industrial area on 100th Street near ‘lookout point’.

The fire department received his call at around 9 pm.

Burrows says no one was inside the camper at the time of fire.
