Cody Kalb put his stamp on the Kalb family tradition, taking three major awards at the Fort St. John Huskies year-end Awards and Banquet on Friday night.
Kalb was named the regular season MVP, as well as co-playoff MVP, along with goaltender Zack Blain. He also won the team scoring title for the second season in a row (something his older brother Jeff had also done).
Other award winners include Dan Pappin, who earned a tribute for outstanding leadership and dedication, something coach Bob Kalb implied would earn him the Captain’s ‘C’ next season.
Cody Kalb says his long-time linemate would make a perfect Captain. [asset|aid=1518|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=c6d210c516754b1ce788a31ff377f3f7-CodyK-paps_1_Pub.mp3]
