Doig, Siphon, and Rose Prairie roads to be improved

Peace River North MLA Pat Pimm has announced funding for improvements to three area roads.

The project, a federal/provincial partnership, will see improvements to the Doig, Siphon, and Rose Prairie Roads, including more than 30 kilometres of paving.

Communications Officer Tim Morrison says the improvements have only just been announced, meaning the contract is still open for bidding.  As such, the project’s expected cost is still to be determined.  Funding will come from the Oil and Gas Rural Road Improvement Program.
