Hit and run in Dawson Creek


A Dawson Creek man has been released from hospital, following a hit and run incident on Friday morning.

The Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a 911 call at around 6:30 Friday morning. When police arrived, they found a man lying in the parking lot of the Northern Alberta Railways Park. The 21 year old male said he had been hit by a car.

The male was transported to the Dawson Creek Regional Hospital where he was treated to injuries to his left leg.

Police have yet to find who was driving the vehicle.
