Police investigating explosion near Pouce Coupe

The RCMP are investigating an explosion that happened last night.

Although there are little details, the Dawson Creek RCMP detachment confim that a bear-proof garbage can has exploded at a rest stop off Highway 2, approximately 25 kilometers from Dawson Creek.

Police say that no one is believed to have been injured.

More details will be available this afternoon, when a news conference will be held at 3:00pm.
