Damp weather and extra crews have helped to get one northern fire under control.

The fire was discovered on June 1st. It is currently sitting at around 230 square kilometres in size.

The Ontario crews that were helping control the fires have since returned home.

Now, Chimko says crews have the Prophet River Fire pretty much contained.
