Update: Overdue travellers found in Whitehorse

**UPDATE – as of 12pm on June 4th the Family has been located.  The HUSU family has been located upon their arrival in Whitehorse, Yukon.

The family had taken a detour while en route and had not updated their family on their unexpected change in itinerary. The HUSU’s extended family wish to thank everyone for the interest in their families safety.

The Fort St. John RCMP detachment has been asked to help locate a family of four.

The Husu family from Vancouver Island has yet to reach their destination in Whitehorse, Yukon.

They were expected to arrive on June 3rd at noon, but have failed to do so.

On June 2nd, the family left the Charlie Lake RV Park around ten in the morning. They had advised family members that they were going to stop at Pink Mountain, then the Liard River Hot Springs.

There has since been no contact with the Husu’s.

The two adults and two young children are travelling in a white, 2001 Ford pickup, and a Citation camper. There are two children’s bikes on the back of the camper.

If you have seen or know the whereabouts of these travelers, contact the RCMP at 250-787-8140.
