Yard sale at the North Peace Museum

If you have a bunch of unused items lying around from spring cleaning, why not donate them to the North Peace Museum?

Fort St. John’s museum will be holding a yard sale on Saturday, and Museum Manager Daria Dolsen says there will be lots to choose from.

Dolsen says it would be nice to raise four thousand dollars, but any amount will be appreciated. All proceeds will go towards the museum’s operating budget.

Meanwhile, Dolsen says the museum is beginning to expand. She says the walls for Phase One of the project will start going up on Monday.

Last week, the Peace River Regional District, electoral areas "B" and "C" donated 150 thousand dollars to the museum.

Dolsen says that money will be used to break ground for Phase Two very soon.

The yard sale begins at 9 on Saturday morning and goes until four in the afternoon. Donations will be accepted until six o’clock on Friday.
