Wildfire risk throughout the Prince George Fire Centre

Due to the hot and dry weather over the week, and into the weekend, the fire danger rating throughout the Prince George Fire Centre continues to rise.

The risk for a wildfire is very high right now, and in an effort to reduce the number of human-caused fires, the Fire Centre has implemented a campfire ban.

Officials are encouraging campers to use either charcoal or gas grills when they are outdoors.
