**Update – As of 4:20am Friday Lara has been found safe.  She emerged from the woods on the Briar Ridge Road near Pouce Coupe.  She was found by family members while patrolling the roads searching for her.  While cold and exhausted, she appears to be okay and is being treated at the Dawson Creek Hospital.

The RCMP have finally provided us with information about a woman that went missing Thursday south of Dawson Creek.

Community Interviews with Moose FM


Lara Zatelnell went missing in a wooded area near Radar Lake Thursday morning.  Dawson Creek and North Peace Search and Rescue are helping with the search.  The RCMP believe the woman may have been picked up by someone.

Lara is described as being 43 years old, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds and shoulder length brown hair.  She was last seen wearing a denim shirt and welder pants.
