The City of Fort St. John will be holding its regular city council meeting next Tuesday instead of Monday.
The switch occurred to accommodate councilors’ schedules.
There are eight delegations scheduled for the meeting, including an update from the Fort St. John RCMP detachment. Northern Health will also make a presentation on the new hospital that is currently under construction.
The anti-social behavior strategy is also on the agenda. Participants at the last meeting came up with possible solutions like forming a Youth Advisory Committee, and discussed the ten-week youth drop-in pilot project scheduled to begin on August 21st.
A few long-service awards will also be handed out to several employees that have been with the city for 5 to 20 years.
A committee of the whole meeting is scheduled for 2pm, with the regular council meeting to begin at 3pm at City Hall.
