Missing Peace River girl found

The Peace Regional RCMP has found the missing girl from Peace River, Alberta.

On Sunday morning, the RCMP was notified of the disappearance of 14 year-old Kassandra Pollard.

The girl had left her residence early Sunday morning, and had failed to make contact with her family after her departure.

On Tuesday afternoon, the RCMP received a tip that the girl had been spotted in High Level, which is six hours north of Peace River.

Police were able to locate Pollard, who has since been reunited with her family.
