Trust fund being set up for Big Valley Victim

Steps are being taken to set up a trust fund for the two boys of the woman killed in the Big Valley Jamboree stage collapse last weekend.

Thirty-five-year-old Donna Moore, of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, was a single mother of 10 and 16 year old boys.

One of the first to contribute to the fund was country singer Johnny Reid, who donated 10-thousand dollars.

There has also been talk about a benefit concert, with actor-singer Kevin Costner saying he would like to participate.

Meantime, the Alberta government has ordered two separate investigations into what happened when a powerful “plow wind” roared through the popular music festival, near Camrose, causing the main stage to crumble.
