A group of community leaders are camping out on the roof of the North Peace Leisure Pool on Friday.

The event is hosted by Fort St. John’s Big Brothers and Big Sisters, in an effort to recruit more volunteers.

Moose FM’s Luke Dickinson has been on the roof since 9 a.m. on Friday. He is braving the chilly wind to help out with the cause.

If 20 people sign up to be a volunteer, the group can come down from the roof. If not, the group will wait until 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Registration forms are available from a booth in the North Peace Leisure Pool parking lot until 9 p.m. on Friday night.

Here’s some information you should know before you sign up:

– Work Address

– License plate number

– Full home address

– Hours available

– Family information
