On Wednesday, officers from the local detachment "arrested" people from around the city.

Then, around 50 prisoners were escorted to the Totem Mall, where they began raising their bail money.

Moose FM’s Morning Show Host, Kelly Doiron was arrested around 9:15 a.m. and she was able to raise $500.00 by noon.

Police say they are happy to report that they didn’t encounter any physical resistance during the numerous arrests.

However, some officers say they did observe a few “Persons of Interest” running out the back door of their businesses, when the police arrived.

Officers say they will crack down on those people next year.

Members from the local detachment want to thank everyone who participated in this event.
