While many students are preparing for the stark reality of heading back to school, Fort St. John’s Dana Cranston is already in Fort Collins, Colorado, for her first year of University at Colorado State.

In fact, the Rams Volleyball team had its first game of the season on Friday night – not a great start to the season though, as Rams dropped their first home game in 29 matches, in 3 sets, to Pepperdine University, out of Malibu, California.

Cranston herself did see some court time, and fared well, according to 9news.com. And, as a sign of things to come, almost 4,000 fans on hand, for opening night.
