Dyer to speak at Lido Tuesday

A well-known public speaker will inform and entertain crowds at the Lido theatre on Tuesday night.

Journalist and historian Gwynne Dyer will lecture on “the Climate Wars”, as part of a nation-wide speaking tour.


The presentation begins at 7:30, and there will be a question and answer period following his speech. Admission is free.

The Canadian journalist’s column is published in more than 175 papers in almost 50 countries – he has also written 8 books, and has produced numerous radio and television documentaries for the CBC, PBS, and the BBC, including the 7-part documentary “War”, which aired in 45 countries, and was nominated for an Academy Award.
