Golf and poker tournament nets $20,000 for Fort St. John hospital

The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation is $20,000 closer to adding a new birthing room at the local hospital.

The money was raised by the Charity Golf Tournament and Poker Event, sponsored by Chances Gaming Centre. The tournament was held on September 12th and 13th.

First place winner of the Poker Tournament was Serge Hombert of Grande Prairie. Hombert donated his $1,000 prize money to the hospital foundation. Megan Gulick of Grande Prairie came second in the Poker Tournament and Jennifer Dow-Salinas of Fort St. John got third.
