Huskies finish preseason with 7-2 win at P.R.

The Fort St. John Huskies wrapped up their preseason with a 7-2 win over Peace River on Sunday.

Dan Pappin led the way with a pair of goals, and the line of Pappin, Cody Kalb, and Dylan Apsassin was all over the scoresheet.

Garrett Muir and Ty Gullickson again split the duties in goal, and coach Bob Kalb says he was very impressed with their efforts.

The win gives the Huskies a 3-0 preseason record, as they look ahead to the opening of the regular season.  The pups host Dawson Creek for their home opener on Friday night (Sept. 25th), at 8pm at the North Peace Arena. The Huskies also host the Slave Lake Wolves on Saturday.
