Northern Health is looking to get the public’s input on healthcare in the region.
So, it’s holding another round of public consultations this fall.
This will be the third Northern Health consultation carried out since 2004. The information gathered will inform the Northern Health Board and senior staff for planning and decision-making purposes.
Northern Health Board Chair Dr. Charles Jago says the board wants to hear the health care hopes, concerns and questions of people in Northern BC.
The series of meetings is called, ‘Let’s Talk About Primary Health Care: Discuss the Future of Basic Health Care in Your Community.’
The two-hour discussions will include discussions on family doctors and the level of healthcare provided.
Consultations begin in Prince George on September 15 and ends in Masset on October 6. They will stop in Fort St. John on September 29th at the Quality Inn Northern Grand at 7pm. Everyone is invited to attend.
There is no cost to attend a consultation session, and refreshments will be provided. For those who cannot attend in person, comment forms can be picked up at any Northern Health facility, or click on the attachment below.
