Registration open for NLC aboriginal scholarships

The Northern Lights College is now accepting applications for a scholarship for aboriginal students.

The Talisman Aboriginal Entrance Awards are open to any aboriginal student attending the college full-time, although preference will be given to those from Northeastern B.C.

There are four endowments, each worth $1,250.  The application deadline is September 30th, and those interested should make sure to include how the award would benefit their educational goals.

Application forms are available at the Financial Aid office at each campus, and can be submitted back to the office, or to Executive Director, NLC Foundation, 11401-8th Street, Dawson Creek, B.C. V1G-4G2.

For more information contact Donna Kane at 250-784-7613 or dkane@nlc.bc.ca, or check the website at nlc.bc.ca.
