Update:  Constable Ingham with the Fort St. John RCMP detachment says no one was hurt in the incident. Ingham also confirmed what witnesses told Energeticcity.ca. He says the driver did leave the scene to get his boss, and that diesel fuel did leak from the truck. Ingham applauded the fast-thinking of nearby residents, who got material to soak up excess diesel on the ground. The truck will be removed as soon as possible.

Several witnesses say the truck rolled around 2:00 p.m., as it was dumping dirt behind a house.

The incident took place near the corner of 91st street, and 117th Avenue.

Witnesses say they heard a loud boom, and the driver reportedly left the scene, but returned shortly after. One witness also reports that diesel was leaking into a nearby drain, and he had to grab material to help stop the leak. It appears no one was hurt in the incident.

The Fort St. John RCMP and Fire Department were both on the scene.
