Fort St. John youth will get to spend the cold days of winter in a heated, fun environment starting Friday, September 11th.

The Southside Centre is a 16 week pilot project, to determine if the there is a need in the community for a full time youth drop-in centre.

Two City Staff will be running the drop-in, and the City is always looking for volunteers to help plan events.

Meanwhile, Cockerill says there will be a code of conduct everyone must follow in the building. She says theft, abusive language and substance abuse will not be tolerated.
