Chances donates $3,000 to United Way

The United Way of Northern British Columbia has $3000 more to distribute, after a donation from the Fort St. John Chances Casino.

Chances donated the proceeds from the Dr. Hook concert held as part of the Chances charity golf tournament in July.

Director of Gaming Operations Bruno Bourassa says the concert generated $3,189.20.

Community & Campaign Programs Officer Mearl Webster, along with other representatives from the United Way, accepted the cheque at Chances on Tuesday.
