Gamblers in the Peace Region probably don’t realize it, but they have just donated more than $1,700 to the local hospital.

The Chances Gaming Centre presented the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation with a cheque for $1,776.66 from their ‘Found Money’ Campaign.

Every time money is left in a machine at the Gaming Centre, Chances staff picks it up and puts it into a collection box.

Four times per year, Chances donates this money to the hospital.

So far this year, Chances has donated more than $7,000 to the hospital, to help purchase equipment for a third birthing room in the Fort St. John Hospital.
