KOC Flyers lose two close ones

The Knights of Columbus Bantam AA Flyers played a pair of exhibition games this weekend.

On Saturday, the Bantams were in Dawson Creek.   The KOC Flyers dominated most of the game, but came up short, losing 3-2.  Captain Dallas Trim scored both of the Flyers’ goals.

On Saturday, the Flyers hosted Grande Prairie at the Enerplex.  Saturday’s game was a wild, back-and-forth affair, but again, the Flyers trailed late and could not even things up.   Grande Prairie added an empty netter, and won 8-6.  Blake Geisbrecht led the way offensively for Fort St. John with a hat-trick in the losing effort, with Blake Geisbrecht, Dallas Trim, and Jayton Wieler adding singles.

The next KOC Flyers action is next weekend in Grande Prairie.
