Synergy FSJ is holding its first ever ‘mingler’ in Fort St. John.

Spokesperson Brent Hodson appeared on Issues and Answers on Wednesday morning.

He advises young professionals to bring plenty of businesses cards to the meet-and-greet on Thursday evening.

Synergy Fort St. John is a junior division of the Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce.

It was initially formed last year, and has since gained momentum in the community.

The organization is open to entrepreneurs, business owners, managers, senior staff, executives, and perspective entrepreneurs under 40 years of age and younger.

Hodson says the ‘mingler’ is one of several projects that the organization is working on.

Hodson recommends those looking to start their own business will find the event useful.  He says it will give those an opportunity to ask questions and get suggestions from other young business owners.

The ‘mingler’ is at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Fogg N’ Sudds on 100th Street.
