New website unveiled for Big Bam Ski Hill

Skiers now can surf the web for more information on the Taylor Ski Hill. Committee members from the Big Bam Ski Club unveiled its new website on Wednesday.

The site offers a frequently asked questions page, along with weather conditions and contact information.

The hill, on the south side of Taylor, was operational until 1997. But, a landslide ruined a chunk of the facility, including the T-Bar and bunny tow.

Volunteers have been working vigorously throughout the summer, to re-open part of the hill.

A new tow-lift is being installed, and organizers say, weather permitting, the hill will be ready to use this winter.
