Fort St. John City Council will be holding its meeting next Tuesday, to accommodate the long weekend.

There are two meetings scheduled – the Committee of the Whole as well as regular council.

Starting at 2 p.m., councilors will once again listen to non-profit groups, who are applying for grant-in-aid funding. Council discussed the grant-in-aid allocation with several other non-profits on Monday, October 5th.

This time, representatives from the Whisky Jack Nordic Ski Club, the North Peace Historical Society, and Gradfest will discuss the requested funding.

Then there’s a packed agenda for the regular council meeting.

Seven delegations are scheduled, ranging from presentations from the United Way, to a proclamation request for October to be named, ‘Foster Family Month’ in Fort St. John.

The Committee of the Whole meeting begins at 2 p.m. While the regular city council meeting starts at 3 p.m.
