The Fort St. John RCMP are reporting a weekend death on the Doig River First Nations Reserve.

On Sunday October 25th, at shortly after 9:00 a.m., Fort St. John RCMP attended a residence in the community, where they discovered a deceased male.   The residence was secured, though at this point, police are only saying that the death is ‘suspicious’.

The investigation is now underway, and police say they will be conducting interviews with people who were present, and also conducting an autopsy.
