Vandalism to gas well site in Beaverlodge

The Edmonton Sun is reporting that vandalism to a gas well in Beaverlodge, Alberta is under investigation.

The Sun reports that on Sunday or early Monday, someone used an on-site bulldozer and dug above a pipeline.  The pipeline is about 92 centimetres underground.

Police report that there appears to be no damage to the pipeline.

There is no immediate connection between the vandalism and the EnCana bombings here in B.C. But, in an interview with the Sun, Corporal Ebonie Lutz of the Beaverlodge RCMP says investigators have yet to determine a motive.

The site is located at Range Road 93, north of Township Road 754.
