$10k worth of equipment stolen Monday night

The Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a break-and-enter overnight on Monday.

A police release says sometime between 5 o’clock on Monday (Nov. 16th) evening, and 9 o’clock on Tuesday morning, an unidentified number of thieves broke into a locked compound in the 104th block of Alaska Road.  The suspect(s) made off with a large amount of industrial and construction equipment, valued at $10,000.

Other than suggesting a large truck was used in the theft, the police haven’t released any other details.

Anyone with information that could prove useful in the investigation is asked to call the local detachment, at 250-787-8140.  Or, tipsters can remain anonymous, by calling crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
