The Arts Council kicks off Elves Christmas Tonight


 The Elves are hard at work preparing for the Arts Council’s annual Elves Christmas program, a series of holiday events that the whole community will love!

The Fort St. John Community Arts Council is inviting you to the Opening Night of Elves Christmas on Saturday, November 14, 7pm at the Quality Inn Northern Grand. Join us for hot chocolate and cookies while enjoying a preview of the stunning hand decorated trees, wreaths, and Christmas ornaments that will be up for auction at the Festival of Trees Gala Dinner and Auction on Thursday, December 3.

We look forward to the upcoming holiday season and hope that you will join us for the fun-filled events of Elves Christmas.

Elves’ Christmas Events 2009

Elves’ Christmas Opening Night Join us for cookies and hot chocolate – Saturday, November 14, 7 – 8:30pm at the Northern Grand Quality Inn.   This event is open to the public and is the first reveal of the spectacular offerings that will be up for auction at the Festival of Trees.

Festival of Trees Gala and Auction – Thursday, December 3, 6pm at the Northern Grand Quality Inn. This is the signature event of the Elves Christmas program and serves as a major fundraiser to the FSJ Community Arts Council. Enjoy a five-course meal, wine, entertainment, live and silent auction. Tickets on sale at the North Peace Cultural Centre for $60.

Raising our Voices Holiday Variety Show – Sunday, December 20, 3pm at the Lido Theatre.   Don’t miss this one of a kind event showcasing talented performers from our very own community. Musicians, dancers, and theatre performances are sure to please the whole family!  Tickets on sale at the Lido Theatre: “Early Bird Rate” – Adults $15, Children (12 and under) $5. Tickets at the door – Adults $20 and Children (12 and under) $10.

Classic Holiday Movie Week at the Lido – Everyone has one, a favorite holiday movie that is! Tickets are $5 at the door.
