The Huskies climbed back into the win column with a win over Beaverlodge on Saturday night.
Robbie Sidhu opened the scoring with a powerplay goal eight minutes into the game.
His second, a short-handed marker, came moments after a clutch save by Ty Gullickson on Taylor Jones, a swing that gave the Huskies a two-goal lead with six minutes remaining.
The Huskies did a little bit of line-juggling for the game. Cody Kalb returned to the lineup, and joined his usual mates Dylan Apsassin and Dan Pappin, while Cam MacKinnon played with Robbie Sidhu and Cody Hildebrand, and Luke McInerney centred Kole Norris and Brighton Campbell. Each line scored a goal (Kalb, Sidhu (2), Hildebrand), while Payden Wongstedt also jumped back into the lineup, and scored a pair from the back-end.
Bob Bailey, Aaron Dumas, and Detton Bowman scored Beaverlodge’s goals.
Ty Gullickson faced 29 shots, while Brett Hommy replaced new-Blade Nolan Bowker in the second period.
