Light a Moose Fundraiser reaches goal

It went right down to the wire again but once again, despite the recessionary times, the citizens of Fort St. John and District have come through, and pushed another Light-A-Moose Campaign, over the top.

The final tally isn’t in yet, but the objective of 30,000 dollars, was exceeeded in the Rhyason Contracting, Moose-FM, three day fundraiser, late Friday.

The funds now go to the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation’s, 13th annual "Be An Angel, Light A Light campaign, which this year, has a 200,000 dollar goal.

The Christmas Tree Light Up, which traditionally marks the official end of that campaign, is scheduled to be held, on the grounds of the Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre, at 5.30 tomorrow evening.
