MLA Pimm advocates for Bison industry in Legislature

The North Peace MLA Pat Pimm is taking the bull by the horns in the legislature.

On Wednesday, Pimm rose in the legislature to discuss the importance of the small, yet powerful bison industry in British Columbia.

Pimm said that 85 percent of B.C.’s bison population is concentrated in the Peace River region. The MLA recently attended the B.C. Bison Association’s AGM.

He said it was refreshing to listen to concerns of the diverse group of ranchers. Pimm vowed to be a vocal advocate for the Bison industry, and encouraged his political colleagues to try bison meat.
