New Hospital on the schedule for today's Chamber Lunch

Northern Health representatives will be the featured speakers today at the Fort St. John & District Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

Project Director, Tom Sparrow and Gareth Hurlbut are scheduled to present site plans and a construction progress report, on the new hospital, in the cities Northeast sector.  Mr. Sparrow stated last week, that due to this year’s warmer than normal, late October and early November weather, the project is now three weeks ahead of schedule.

Meantime, the Chamber will also hear today from Hospital Foundation director Janice Isberg, on this year’s "Be an Angel, Light a Light Campaign".  This year’s goal is $200,000, with the funds raised, going to the purchase of equipment for the visiting Specialist Clinics at the hospital.

Starting tomorrow Moose-FM staff will be back at the hospital grounds, for another Light a Moose campaign, teaming up with the Foundation and Rhyason Contracting. The three day fund raiser hopes to raise over $30,000, to go towards the "Be an Angel" campaign.
