RCMP seek to identify good samaritan traveling to Fort St. John

The Ashcroft RCMP are looking for the public’s help in identifying a good samaritan that may have been traveling to Fort St. John.

The good samaritan stopped at a two vehicle collision on Highway 97 between Cache Creek and Clinton on September 1st, 2009.  The Ashcroft RCMP are attempting to locate and speak with this good samaritan.  This person stopped at the accident at 11:10am and provided assistance at vehicle accident at the Hilltop Fruit Stand on Highway 97 at 16 mile.

A 2001 Silver Chevrolet Cavalier and a 1996 white Chrysler Intrepid collided at the frontage road intersection.  The good samaritan is described as a woman traveling with two younger boys, driving an older red vehicle, believed to be traveling to Fort St. John.  At this time the RCMP have not said just what type of assistance the driver provided.

Police are attempting to locate her in regards to the accident.  If you know of this person, you are asked to contact the Ashcroft RCMP at 250-453-2216 or Crime Stoppers. The Ashcroft RCMP file number is 2009-1183.
