Remembrance Day Domestic Violence in GP

The RCMP in Grande Prairie has filed charges against both parties involved, in what appears to have been a violent Remembrance Day domestic dispute.

Police were called yesterday afternoon to an apartment, by a 29 year old woman complaining she had been assaulted.

However, when they arrived at the scene, they found a 39 year old man pressing a pillow against his neck and suffering from a laceration just behind his jaw.

He was treated at hospital, for the non-life threatening wound and then charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.   Meantime, the woman is facing a charge of Assault with a Weapon.
