Woman from northeast B.C. dies from H1N1

Northern Health has confirmed the first H1N1-related death in the region.

Spokesperson Eryn Collins says the patient was a middle-aged woman with underlying health conditions, from Northeast B.C.

Collins couldn’t give out the patient’s hometown or any other information for privacy reasons.

However, the patient did pass away in an undisclosed hospital in Edmonton.

Meanwhile, the Fort St. John Medical Clinic has announced another H1N1 vaccine clinic. It will be held on Friday 27th, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
