Enerplex walking track opening delayed

It looks like Fort St. John residents will have to continue walking and running in the snow.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the City says the Northern Vac Track in the Enerplex will not be open on time.  The city says it has not acquired the required permits to open the third floor.

The free walking and running track was slated to open on December 1st.

So far, the first floor is opened to the public.

The city says it will release more details on the projected completion and opening dates in the near future.

Meanwhile, the City says the public can now access the Enerplex from the front, main doors of the facility, and also park in the front lot.
