Fundraiser for local H1N1 victim tonight

Just a reminder there will be a benefit dance tonight for a woman that contracted the H1N1 flu virus last month.

Sarah Thom is a single mom and residential care attendant, at the North Peace Care Centre.  She is currently in the University Hospital in Edmonton, recovering from what was a life threatening battle with the swine flu.  Her recovery is expected to take some time.

Because of her loss of income, Thom’s friends are setting up a dance at the Fort St. John Curling Club tonight.  The dance begins at 7 p.m. and there will be live music from local artists, who are donating their time.

Admission will also be by donation, and there will be a silent auction.  For more information, contact Tina Marsh, or Michelle Deni…at 250-793-7329…or at 250-271-0973.
