Construction in Fort St. John took another slide last month.

The latest numbers from City Hall show 14 permits issued in Fort St. John in November, at a value of almost $2.65 million.

The numbers don’t compare well with previous years, after nine permits issued in November of 2008, for a value of just less than $5.5 million, and 21 issued in the same month in 2007, for a value of more than $9 million.

The 2009 total now stands at just shy of $27 million, which is just 31% of the total at this point last year (nearly $86 million).

The City’s take from the November permits is valued at $9,397, for a year-to-date total of $111,277.
