Huskies bite Wolves

The Huskies held serve on Saturday night, beating visiting Slave Lake by a score of 7-1.
 
Cody Kalb led the way offensively, with two goals. Other goals came from Cody Hildebrand, Dylan Apsassin, Robbie Sidhu, Midget call-up Logan Daneluk, and Brighton Campbell.
 
Ira Gladue scored the lone goal for Slave Lake. 
 
The Huskies struck four times on the powerplay, while Daneluk scored his goal on a short-handed breakaway.
 
Ty Gullickson recorded the win, stopping 25 of 26 shots he faced. Travis Chartier suffered the loss in goal for the Wolves. 
 
The win may have come at a cost though, as Fort St. John winger Dylan Apsassin had to leave the game after crashing into the boards and injuring his wrist. His status is up the in air, with tests scheduled for early next week.
 
The Huskies host Slave Lake again on Sunday, with the puck drop scheduled for 2 p.m.
